Nicolet FEAR Fourth of July

Nicolet FEAR will be participating in Glendale’s Fourth of July Parade and Celebration! Some of our members will be marching in the parade, along with our Robot Yount (the robot which threw the first pitch at a Brewer’s game). We are hoping to spread the message of team 4786, along with the message of FIRST to all members in this community. Additionally, we will be participating in the celebration after the parade from 11:30am – 12:15pm. With the help of SirLance-A-Bot, the robot we used in our most recent competition season, we will be demonstrating the strengths and uses of our robot. Furthermore, certain members of the team will be giving small speeches regarding the various departments of our team; handouts will be given out explaining more information about our team and how the community can help fund our program.
Hopefully, this event will go a long way in advertising our team and drawing in members of the community to help sponsor us. With the community, we will showcase everything that our team can do; from the business aspects to the robot designing aspects. To help support this more, we will be giving out some Nicolet FEAR merchandise such as water bottles and buttons to the general public, spreading our name. Team 4786 is incredibly excited to spread our name into the community and reach out in a meaningful, and patriotic way.
